Art has always been a meaningful way for me to reflect connection, resilience, and the energy of community — values that align closely with the compassionate care at Joseph Brant Hospital. I’m glad this piece, with its movement and colour, resonates as a symbol of care in action: people coming together to support one another.

I’m especially pleased that the hospital is working with me as an artistic community partner in this initiative. The Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation plays a vital role in advancing patient care by funding essential medical equipment, enhancing facilities, and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well-being of our Burlington community. Knowing that my artwork is helping express gratitude to the generous donors who make this possible is truly meaningful.

About The Artist

Christina Koli is a versatile artist excelling in mixed-media painting, pottery, and up-cycled wearable art. A graduate of Ontario College of Art and Design, she has held creative leadership roles in cosmetics and fashion accessories while pursuing her creative passions.

Inspired by her family’s artistic legacy, Christina explores experimental media—raw pigments, liquid paints, textured materials and with her pottery experimenting with glazes. Her vibrant works celebrate nature’s beauty, energy, and soul, evoking blooming flowers and mystical landscapes through bold colour and dynamic design.

She joyfully shares her unique creations, connecting with art lovers through her distinctive vision and boundless creativity.
